About Me
My name is Petra van Weerden and I am a counsellor located in Oshawa.
Let me introduce myself to you…
In 2016, I came to Canada from the Netherlands with my husband and our four beautiful kids. I have over 20 years of experience in counselling individuals, leading groups, and public speaking. I received a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of Groningen (Netherlands) in 2003.
I am a student member with the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT) while being in the process of getting my registration (qualifying) with the CRPO.
I have specialized in Christian Counselling. Most of the clients I see are looking for a counsellor that is qualified and skilled to counsel, while also offering spiritual tools like prayer and scripture application.
